2. Definitions

  • Services: Any software development, consulting, maintenance, or other services provided by Acuity Software Services Pvt. Ltd.
  • Products: Any software, applications, or digital goods developed and sold by Acuity Software Services Pvt. Ltd.

3. Eligibility for Refunds

3.1 Services

  • Project Initiation: A full refund is available if a cancellation request is made within 7 days of the project initiation date, provided no substantial work has been completed.
  • Mid-Project: For cancellations made after 7 days but before 50% project completion, a partial refund may be granted based on the proportion of work completed.
  • Post-Completion: No refunds will be issued for services after project completion and delivery.

3.2 Products

  • Software Products: Refunds for software products are available within 14 days of purchase, provided the product has not been significantly used or modified. Customers must uninstall and delete all copies of the software to qualify for a refund.
  • Subscription Services: Refunds for subscription services are available within 14 days of the initial purchase. No refunds are available for renewals.

4. Process for Refunds

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email our customer support team at info@acuitysoftwareservices.com with your order number, reason for the refund request, and any supporting documentation.
  2. Review: Our team will review your request and may contact you for further information.
  3. Decision: We will notify you of our decision within 7 business days. If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days.

5. Cancellations

5.1 Services

  • Advance Notice: Clients must provide at least 14 days' notice for the cancellation of ongoing services. Any work completed up to the date of cancellation will be billed accordingly.
  • Long-Term Contracts: For contracts exceeding 6 months, specific cancellation terms will be outlined in the individual service agreement.

5.2 Products

  • Software Products: Cancellations are not applicable once the product has been downloaded and activated.
  • Subscription Services: Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Access will remain available until the end of the current billing cycle, but no refunds will be issued for the remaining period.

6. Non-Refundable Items

  • Customization Fees: Fees paid for customizations and bespoke development work are non-refundable.
  • Third-Party Services: Costs associated with third-party services or products used in conjunction with our services or products are non-refundable.

7. Exceptions

  • Force Majeure: Refunds and cancellations may be adjusted in cases of force majeure, where unforeseen events prevent the delivery of services or products.
